     1972 Buick GS Stage 1

We bought this car in July 1989 from the original family. It was in southern CA until 1987.  It is very solid and complete. At some point a 1/2 vinyl roof and radio were added (not sure it was the dealer or the previous owner). It ran great until it was parked in approximately 1992. The car is very solid (all of the paint is original) and should be the easiest restoration yet. Since this is our personal car, it's had to patiently wait it's turn.

The following pictures were taken in the Spring of 2005 when we decided to pull the car outside for an inspection for the 1st time in over 10 years. While the car was outside we looked in the interior for a buildsheet and were rewarded with not 1, but 3 buildsheets!  The buildsheets were found under the rear seat, under the rear package shelf, and under the driver's side front bucket seat. There may still another above the gas tank.

We have owned this car since July 1984. We used it for daily transportation for several years before being put into dry storage for a future restoration project. It is a good running/driving car with ice cold A/C. We usually get it out and drive it for about 1 week each summer. It's been run hard but luckily it still has the original engine. Not sure when we will get around to the restoration, it's patiently waiting....
